Requirements of Innovation Contest
- Candidate projects shall belong to the fields of artificial intelligence, biotechnology and cyberspace as well as corresponding subdivisions.
- Candidate projects shall be innovative and technically advanced.
- Candidate teams shall be good at technical research and development.
- Team members and their organizations shall have good social reputation and no bad records.
- The products, technologies and patents of projects to be submitted shall belong to the team, team member or organization, and there is no property right dispute.

Requirements of Championship
- Candidate projects must be physical robots with capabilities of movement, operation, communication, perception, endurance, and survival.
- Candidate projects must be able to complete specified tasks set under the competition proposition.
- Candidate teams shall be good at technical research and development and system integration.
- Team members and their organizations shall have good social reputation and no bad records.
- The products, technologies and patents of projects to be submitted shall belong to the team, team member or organization, and there is no property right dispute.

Winners of A-TEC will split a total prize of 24 million RMB parts in cash & parts in the form of project funds
